Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on eCommerce Manager to drive the growth of Agrosmart’s digital sales channels. This role will oversee the development, optimization, and scaling of our eCommerce ecosystem—ensuring farmers, cooperatives, and partners can easily discover and purchase our digital products online.

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of agriculture, technology, and digital commerce.

Key Responsibilities

Own and execute the eCommerce strategy across all digital sales channels (website, marketplaces, partner platforms).

Manage the digital storefront: product listings, pricing strategies, promotions, UX/UI optimization, and content updates.

Collaborate with the Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure alignment on positioning, offers, and funnel performance.

Track and report on eCommerce KPIs: traffic, conversion rate, cart abandonment, average order value (AOV), CAC, LTV, etc.

Coordinate with logistics and operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of physical products (e.g., Agri inputs).

Integrate eCommerce platforms with internal systems (ERP, CRM, inventory management, customer support tools).

Stay up to date with best practices in rural commerce, digital agriculture, and omnichannel experiences.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

2+ years of experience managing or scaling eCommerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Dehaat, Bighaat, Krushidukhaan, Ninjakaart, Waycool, Agrostar

Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRO (conversion rate optimization), and analytics (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.).

Solid background in eCommerce operations, including payments, fulfilment, and customer experience.

Performance-driven mindset with a strong command of eCommerce KPIs and financial metrics.

Experience working in or with emerging markets and rural customers (e.g., farmers, cooperatives).

Nice to Have:

Experience in agritech, B2B SaaS, hardware sales, or agribusiness sectors.

Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., RD Station, HubSpot).

Ability to work in a start-up or scale-up environment with fast iteration and lean teams.
