Job Description for the Role of Director – Digital CampaignsBrief description of the role : O versee s and manag es all aspects of digital marketing campaigns, including strategy development, execution, and performance analysis. Works closely with various teams to ensure that digital marketing efforts align with the overall business objectives and brand guidelines .Core KPIs : C ampaign effectiveness and efficiency, prompt tracking and reporting of performance and budgets , set-up error rate, engagement , refine campaign processes from requirements to reporting , adherence .
Responsibilities
Overseeing all digital marketing efforts across various channels, such as Paid/Display /Social Ads and email.
- Oversee s the campaign processes , tools, and governance , and monitor KPIs.
- Builds , supports and refines workflows, for digital campaigns (email , organic search , paid campaigns ) , ABM etc .
- Leads the c ampaign QA : Audit/Test c ampaign asset s ( forms, templates, links, UTM, workflows etc. ) and the set-up , adherence to internal checklists etc , and oversees UAT.
- Managing budgets and allocating resources for digital campaigns.
- Oversee s optimisation of campaigns basis business goals, KPI s and benchmar ks with focus on ROI and attribution:
- Focuses on ROI and attribution.
- Manage s customer data and fine tunes engagement strategies.
- Monitors quality and velocity of digital inbound lead generation from the campaigns.
- Use s A/B testing and CRO. Focus es on rapid experimentation for velocity in user acquisition and conversion.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and cohesive marketing efforts.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and external partners.
- Leverage the workflow platform for intaking campaign requests and managing delivery priorities and managing team capacity .
- Analysing digital marketing data to inform strategic decisions and optimize campaigns for maximum impact and ROI and delivering to stakeholders the insights into what’s working and not working .
- Ensure compliance to data protection and privacy regulations , such as GDPR, CCPA, etc., and email regulations.
- AI and Innovation: Leverage AI to improve effectiveness and efficiency through identification of and implementing AI-enabled or AI-led automation in campaigns.
Qualifications
Key qualifications , experience , and skills :
- B achelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field, with a preference for a master's degree.
- In overall experience, a t least 10 years of managerial experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of running successful campaigns.
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, CRO and display ad ecosystems viz. Google, Meta, and LinkedIn, and CRM software such as Salesforce.
- Us e of d ashboards to visualise and analyse the performance of campaigns and generate actionable insights.
- Ideal candidate w ould be tech-oriented, knowledgeable about current marketing trends and strategies, and able to manage and coordinate with different team members effectively.
- S trong leadership, analytical, and communication skills .
