What you will do

As a Director in the Customer & Operations (C&O) Advisory practice, you will lead strategic transformation engagements across focused industries, helping clients unlock growth, optimize operations, and drive data-backed decision-making. You will be a trusted advisor to CXOs, shaping enterprise-wide strategies and delivering measurable impact. The practice plays a pivotal role in implementing solutions, working with CXO’s and anchoring their overall business agenda.


To drive strategic value creation and transformational agendas across (but not limited to) growth strategy, market entry, corporate strategy, AI strategy, full-potential strategy, operating model design, BU and functional strategy, revenue enhancement and process improvement


Client management and engagement delivery

  • Build and sustain CXO-level relationships across focused sectors-

    EMS, Semiconductors, Industrial equipments, Instrumentation, Data center

    etc.
  • Lead large-scale transformation programs focused on Strategy and value-creation interventions
  • Deliver high-impact solutions leveraging core consulting skills and functional expertise in strategy, AI, sales & marketing, manufacturing and supply chain


Strategic Growth & Business development

  • Identify and shape new opportunities aligned with client priorities.
  • Drive proposal development, solutioning, and commercial structuring for strategic pursuits.


Practice Development

  • Champion thought leadership in High growth sectors such as Semiconductors, Display, EMS, Data centers etc.
  • Mentor and grow high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Oversee project governance, risk management, and financial performance.


Internal initiatives & compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Firm's processes and policies such as Goal setting, performance development, L&D, timesheets, risk processes etc.
  • Participate in and lead firm initiatives – L&D, recruitment, and thought leaderships


What you will require to take up this role

    - ability to independently generate insights, develop solutions to address client needs and drive effective implementation of desired outcomes

    Independent client management and relationship building
  • Business acumen -

    Analytical bent of mind to recognize industry trends, how it impacts client’s business and identify potential future needs of the client
  • Project delivery-

    Ability to lead teams, manage team member outputs and ensure a consistent project delivery
  • Verbal Communication -

    Excellent communication and presentation skills for client management and relationship building
  • Written communication -

    Ability to define a logical storyboard and structure to present findings / recommendations to the clients and articulate the key messages in a clear and concise language
  • Client Presence -

    Ability to deliver key messages to clients in a clear and confident manner, influence client counterparts on key decisions and have difficult conversations
  • People Management -

    Coaching, mentoring and building a high performing team
  • Quick learner & entrepreneurial attitude

  • Multi-tasking -

    Ability to deal with fragmentation and multi-task


Qualifications

  • 12+ years of consulting experience, or top-tier strategy firms.
  • Proven track record in leading transformation programs.
  • Deep expertise in Pure-play strategy engagements (e.g., growth strategy, market entry, corporate strategy, AI strategy, M&A, operating model design, BU and functional strategy) and Business transformation
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • MBA/PGDM from a premier institute preferred; Engineering background preferred.
