Job Title: Director – Data ProductWork Location: Hyderabad or Chennai (open to Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, NCR)Work Arrangement: Requires a minimum of 9 working days per month from the Chennai office, with the remaining days flexible to be worked from any of the other listed locations.

About The Role

We are looking for a dynamic and technically proficient leader to take on the role of Director – Data, responsible for driving enterprise-wide data initiatives. This role blends strategic vision with hands-on leadership in data analytics, governance, and enablement. The Director will lead data strategy execution, foster a data-driven culture, and ensure the delivery of actionable insights that support business objectives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Director will oversee data quality, advanced analytics, and the democratization of data across the organization.Key Responsibilities & Strategic LeadershipData Strategy & Vision
  • Define and implement the organization’s data strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making across business functions.
Team Leadership
  • Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, analysts, and BI developers.
  • Establish best practices and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
Advanced Analytics & Innovation
  • Oversee the development of machine learning models, predictive analytics, and data visualization solutions.
  • Encourage innovation through the adoption of modern analytics tools and techniques.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with business leaders, product teams, and operations to identify analytical needs and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Translate complex data insights into clear business recommendations.
Data Governance & Quality
  • Partner with Data Engineering and IT to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability.
  • Implement governance frameworks and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
Analytics Enablement
  • Promote self-service analytics through platforms, training, and tools.
  • Drive data literacy and empower teams to leverage data effectively.
Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable data solutions on AWS architecture.
  • Ensure optimal use of AWS services for data storage, processing, analytics, and security.
  • Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to align data infrastructure with enterprise cloud strategy.
Industry Intelligence
  • Stay informed on emerging trends in data science, AI, and governance.
  • Evaluate new technologies and methodologies for potential adoption.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • 12–15 years of experience in data analytics or data science, with 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and delivering enterprise-level analytics solutions.
Technical Expertise
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Strong experience in AWS architecture, including services like S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, and SageMaker.
  • Familiarity with big data platforms and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Solid foundation in machine learning, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.
