Job Title: IT-OT Lead Location: Mumbai / Hazira Department: Information Technology (M6) Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic IT-OT Lead with robust experience in the Steel and Mines industry. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Industry 4.0 technologies. This role requires a blend of strategic vision and hands-on execution to lead the implementation and management of integrated IT-OT systems that enhance operational efficiency, safety, and productivity. Key Responsibilities: Act as a Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) with foundational knowledge of various Operations Technology (OT) and Industry 4.0 platforms and solutions. Design and implement the Industry 4.0 roadmap, integrating MES and digital technologies to transform operations in a Steel/Mines setting. Lead the deployment and management of IT-OT solutions that support business strategy and operational excellence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of MES, ERP, and other enterprise systems for real-time data visibility and decision-making. Manage and execute projects focused on automation, data analytics, and digital transformation in heavy industrial environments. Provide expert advice on selecting, deploying, and optimizing OT systems, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. Build and maintain vendor relationships and track industry trends to continuously evolve the IT-OT landscape. Ensure adherence to IT-OT cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance standards. Mentor junior team members, promoting continuous learning and fostering a high-performance culture. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. 15 to 17 years of progressive experience in Operations Technology, with a strong focus on MES and Industry 4.0 implementations. Solid domain expertise in the Steel or Mines sector, with knowledge of core operational workflows and industrial automation. Proven ability to lead and deliver large-scale IT-OT projects, from concept to execution. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in project management, data analytics tools, and system integration methods. Familiarity with technologies such as IoT platforms, SCADA, PLC, HMI, AI/ML in manufacturing, and edge computing is a plus. Ability and willingness to travel for project implementation and stakeholder engagement. Why Join Us?
