Digital Marketer at Cybage!

Role Overview:

  • As a Digital Marketing Fresher, freshers will gain broad exposure across multiple channels— especially Paid Search, Social Media Ads, Marketing Automation, Analytics, and Programmatic Advertising.
  • They will assist senior team members in executing campaigns, analysing performance, learning technical tools, and supporting optimization.
  • The role is designed to build foundational digital marketing skills, logical thinking, strong communication, and hands-on experience.
  • They would be expected to contribute to CoE research, innovation, and process development.


Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

The core areas where freshers will be responsible / assist and against which their performance will be measured:


  • Foundational Learning & Skill Development:

  • Learn and get certified / proficient in key digital marketing tools & platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, marketing automation tools).
  • Master basics of campaign management, campaign attribution, keyword research, audience targeting, UTM tracking, reporting, campaign optimization etc.
  • Understand performance metrics (CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS, etc.), and how they are used across channels.


  • Campaign Support (Paid Search / Social / Programmatic/Marketing Automation/Analytics etc.):

  • Assist in setting up ad campaigns: campaign structure, ad copy drafts, variant creation, initial bidding and budgets.
  • Monitor campaign delivery/pacing; flag issues or under-performance.
  • Support A/B testing of ad creatives, copy, audience segments.
  • Assist senior team with programmatic tasks: audience segment maintenance, reporting, basic optimizations.
  • Support building automation / drip campaigns (email/SMS), list segmentation, tagging.
  • Assist with campaign scheduling, content alignment, and follow-ups/triggers.
  • Analytics & Reporting - Help track and report campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Insights, internal dashboards, etc.
  • Assist in preparing reports: summarizing results, comparing against targets / benchmarks.
  • Identify simple insights from campaigns/data to suggest optimizations (e.g., underperforming ads, high cost keywords, etc.).


  • CoE Contribution - Research on Emerging Channels & Trends:

  • Stay updated on new digital marketing platforms (Retail Media, CTV, WhatsApp Marketing, etc.) and summarize opportunities for the CoE.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to track how top brands are experimenting with new channels.
  • Present fortnightly research briefs (2–3 pages or slides) on an emerging channel or tool.
  • Research on emerging channels & trends and present research findings and insights in CoE brainstorming sessions. Contribute ideas during KSS Sessions led by the CoE.
  • Support cross-functional projects (design, analytics, automation) with research inputs.
  • Contribute to creating standard process templates (campaign setup checklist, UTM tagging guide, reporting framework) and assist in building SOP documents for new workflows


  • Supportive Tasks & Collaboration:

  • Help with competitor & market research: trends, ad examples, benchmarking.
  • Enroll in at least 1–2 certifications per quarter (Google Ads, GA4, Meta Blueprint, HubSpot, AI tools) and share key learnings with the team
  • Help maintain documentation: campaign briefs, tags/UTM sheets, performance logs. Execute administrative tasks as required (scheduling, asset collection, approvals, etc.).



Required Qualifications & Skills:


  • Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in MBA / BBA / Engineering / AI / related field
  • Communication & Logical Thinking - Strong communication skills (written & verbal) and Good logical reasoning & numerical aptitude
  • Interest in learning tools & platforms: Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, Google Ads, basic programmatic concepts
  • Ability to multitask, organize well, manage deadlines


  • Nice To Haves:

  • Internships or academic projects in digital marketing, analytics, AI or tech
  • Certifications in Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, HubSpot, etc.
  • Basic understanding of statistics, Python / SQL / Excel advanced
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools, CRM tools, or basic scripting
  • Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI / Looker etc.)


  • Other Requirements

  • Readiness to learn, adapt, take feedback, and iterate fast.
  • Curiosity & willingness to experiment (small tests, creative tweaks)
  • Attention to detail (typo-free content, correct tracking etc.)
  • Positive attitude, coachability, ability to take feedback
  • Time management and ability to work under supervision with increasing responsibility.
