About the Role

DevOps Engineer

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable systems, improving development workflows, and driving automation across the engineering ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Monitor system performance, uptime, and reliability using modern monitoring tools.
Collaborate with development teams to streamline builds, testing, and releases.
Ensure system security, backups, and disaster recovery procedures are in place.
Configure and manage containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis.
Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, processes, and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure automation.
Strong proficiency with Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of networking, security practices, and system monitoring.
Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.

Preferred / Good-to-Have

Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).
Knowledge of microservices architecture and DevSecOps practices.
Experience with logging and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk).
Understanding of serverless technologies and API gateways.
