What You Will Be Doing
- Executing complex infrastructure transformations, including transitions from legacy environments to AWS cloud platforms and lift-and-shift migration strategies
- Architecting and deploying monitoring frameworks and creating automations for monitoring systems, software releases, and operational processes
- Conducting system surveillance, backup operations, incident management, database transitions, database setup, and cost reduction initiatives

DevOps Architect Key Responsibilities
- Advance reliability and consistency of cloud infrastructure throughout our expanding product portfolio by deploying comprehensive monitoring, automation, and AWS best practices.
Basic Requirements
- Extensive AWS infrastructure knowledge (this is our core platform - experience with other clouds alone is insufficient)
- Solid programming capabilities in Python or JavaScript for creating automation and tooling solutions
- Background managing and migrating production databases across multiple engines (including MySql, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL)
- Expert-level Docker/Kubernetes proficiency
- Background with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
- Linux systems administration proficiency
