What You Will Be Doing Orchestrate sophisticated cloud migrations that transform legacy systems into modern AWS infrastructure with surgical precision Design and deploy intelligent monitoring systems and automation pipelines that make operational excellence the norm, not the exception Lead critical infrastructure initiatives including system optimization, database transformations, and cost-efficiency programs What You Won’t Be Doing Drowning in bureaucratic processes or endless status updates - we're about action, not administration Babysitting legacy systems - you'll be empowered to modernize and optimize Waiting for approval chains - you'll have the autonomy to make critical decisions Working in isolation - this role demands cross-functional technical expertise Begging for resources - we prioritize infrastructure excellence DevOps Architect Key Responsibilities Spearhead the evolution of our cloud infrastructure ecosystem by implementing cutting-edge monitoring solutions, intelligent automation systems, and AWS architectural best practices across our diverse product portfolio. Basic Requirements Proven AWS infrastructure mastery - this is non-negotiable; experience with other clouds alone isn't sufficient Advanced programming capabilities in Python or JavaScript for developing sophisticated automation solutions Extensive database management expertise across multiple engines (MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL) Professional-level containerization skills with Docker and Kubernetes Demonstrated proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation) Expert-level Linux systems administration capabilities About Trilogy Hundreds of software businesses run on the Trilogy Business Platform. Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
