Job Description

Ready to be the architect of chaos-to-order transformation? We're seeking a DevOps virtuoso who gets an adrenaline rush from transforming complex, multi-stack environments into elegant, automated AWS infrastructures. This isn't your typical "keep the servers running" role – it's an opportunity to revolutionize how multiple acquired products operate in the cloud while maintaining enterprise-grade reliability.Picture yourself as the mastermind behind consolidating diverse tech stacks, where others see complexity, you see opportunity. You'll be the driving force behind strategic infrastructure decisions, wielding the power to implement AI-driven automation, orchestrate zero-downtime migrations, and optimize everything from databases to deployment pipelines. If you're energized by the challenge of turning infrastructure chaos into a symphony of efficiency, and you believe 99.9% uptime is just the beginning, we need to talk. This role offers the freedom to make impactful decisions without bureaucratic bottlenecks, backed by a team that values technical expertise over endless meetings.

What You Will Be Doing

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, includes:
  • Orchestrating sophisticated infrastructure transformations, including seamless AWS migrations that keep business-critical systems running smoothly
  • Creating intelligent monitoring ecosystems and developing next-gen automation solutions that make manual interventions a thing of the past
  • Taking charge of system health, from proactive monitoring and backup strategies to database optimization and cost-effective resource allocation

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Drowning in endless status updates and Jira tickets - we believe in action over administration
  • Playing caretaker to legacy systems - you'll be empowered to modernize and innovate
  • Waiting for multiple sign-offs to fix critical issues - you'll have the autonomy to make things right
  • Operating in a restricted technical bubble - your expertise will span across multiple domains
  • Begging for resources to implement essential improvements - we prioritize infrastructure excellence

DevOps Architect Key Responsibilities

Your core mission is to elevate our cloud infrastructure ecosystem by:
  • Spearheading the implementation of cutting-edge monitoring systems, automation frameworks, and AWS best practices across our diverse product portfolio to achieve unprecedented reliability and standardization.

Basic Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:
  • Battle-tested AWS expertise (we're all-in on AWS - other cloud platforms alone won't suffice)
  • Proven programming prowess in Python or JavaScript for crafting sophisticated automation solutions
  • Extensive experience managing and migrating various database engines (MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL)
  • Master-level container orchestration skills with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
  • Advanced Linux systems administration capabilities
