Job Description

As a Desktop Support Specialist at Allen Lund Company, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support across various systems and devices to ensure a seamless user experience. Your proactive and solution-oriented approach will be essential in resolving desktop-related issues efficiently. Here's what will be expected from you: Key Responsibilities: - Provide hands-on and remote technical assistance to end-users for desktop-related issues, ensuring timely resolution - Monitor and respond to user requests and incidents via ticketing systems, emails, phone calls, and instant messages, tracking and resolving all issues efficiently - Support and maintain desktops, laptops, desk phones, headsets, printers, and related peripherals to ensure optimal functionality - Assist with iOS and Android devices support, including mobile phones, tablets, and hotspots - Troubleshoot internet connectivity issues, coordinate with service providers, and dispatch technicians as needed - Administer the Google Workspace Enterprise environment to ensure smooth functionality and security for all users - Manage the Active Directory environment, including access control, user permissions, and account management - Install and maintain anti-virus software and clients to ensure device security - Handle user account creation, modification, and deletion across various platforms Other Duties: - Collaborate with the IT team to ensure smooth operations and effective problem-solving - Assist with software installations/uninstalls, after-hours team meetings, and Windows Server patching as directed by the IT Manager - Contribute to identifying and implementing improvements in IT processes and infrastructure Qualifications: - Proven experience in desktop support and troubleshooting hardware and software issues - Familiarity with Active Directory, Google Workspace, and mobile device management - Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network-related issues - Knowledge of antivirus software installation and management - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to prioritize multiple support requests - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team Join Allen Lund Company as a Desktop Support Specialist and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing top-tier logistics and transportation services.,
