Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Design Manager to lead our valve design team. This role involves overseeing the development of ball valve products from concept to production, ensuring compliance with international standards, and driving continuous improvement in design processes and product performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of design engineers in developing Ball valves products.
• Oversee the creation of 3D models, 2D drawings, and technical documentation using CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Ensure all designs meet relevant standards (API, ASME, ISO) and customer specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and procuremen,t to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Review and approve engineering calculations, material selections, and design validation reports.
• Manage design timelines, resource allocation, and project deliverables.
• Drive innovation in valve design, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
• Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and root cause analysis for design-related issues.
• Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and regulatory updates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in valve design, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong Experience in Ball Valve
• Strong knowledge of ball valve design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools (FEA, CFD preferred).
• Familiarity with GD&T, IBR calculations, and international valve standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
