Deputy Manager

Purpose/Objective

Design Engineering, Design review, Layout Optimization, Assessment of New Projects, Cost Estimate and Due diligence of Hydro and PSP Projects (Domain Water Resources/Geotech/Rock Mechanics/Structures).

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Lead the design and engineering of civil engineering tasks for Hydro PSP projects, including Hydraulic design, Geotech Design structural design - Ensure compliance with New DPR guideline by government, - Collaborate with consultants and site team to review and optimize engineering drawings and plans for Hydro PSP infrastructure. - Provide regular updates to the AGM, highlighting risks and proposing mitigation strategies. - Participation in Project and component optimization from Civil engineering point of view; specially Dam, Intake, Water conductor System and Powerhouse. - Adherence to engineering standards and identify areas for improvement. - Utilize advanced civil engineering tools and software for design and Engineering - Cost optimization initiatives. - Support the Hydro PSP unit’s strategic initiatives by contributing to process improvements and innovation in civil engineering practices.

Technical Competencies

In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, including structural analysis, Hydraulics and geotechnical considerations.,Familiarity with hydro PSP project requirements, including reservoir, Intake, Powerhouse,Hands of Enperience on Geotech/Hydraulics/Structureal Softwares ,Experience of Design and Drawing Review, DPR Preparation, Due diligence of Hydro and PSP Projects

Qualifications and Experience

- B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.Tech in Hydraulics/Water resources/Geotech/Structures will be given preference compared to B.Tech/BE Candidates) - Design experience of Dam, Intake, Water conductor System, Tunnels, Powerhouse. - Experience in civil engineering software. - Minimum Experience 7 Years after B.Tech or 5 years after M.Tech.
