Job Description

Purpose/Objective


    The Deputy Manager Civil will oversee planning, execution, and monitoring of civil works related to WCS, ADITS, and PH components of Hydro PSP projects. The role demands strong technical expertise in underground construction, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities of Role


    - Supervise construction activities for tunnels, shafts, and water conductor systems. - Ensure timely execution of works as per approved drawings and specifications. - Monitor progress and resolve site-level issues in coordination with contractors and consultants. - Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. - Conduct site inspections and quality checks. - Coordinate with safety and quality teams to ensure compliance. - Maintain records of construction activities

Technical Competencies


    AutoCAD software,Execution,Project scheduling,Quality Management

Qualifications and Experience


    - Educational: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. - Experience: For Diploma 11+ years and for B.E/B.Tech 8+ years in hydroelectric or infrastructure projects, preferably in underground works, water conductor systems (WCS), pressure shafts (PH), and access tunnels (ADITS).
