Job Description

The Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Sales will be responsible for driving the company’s sales strategy, managing regional/national sales operations, leading high-performing teams, and achieving revenue growth targets. The role demands strategic planning, exceptional leadership, and deep market insight to expand customer base and market share. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand customer base. Lead and manage regional/national sales teams; set performance objectives and ensure accountability. Identify new business opportunities and high-value customer segments. Build and maintain strong client relationships and partnerships to support long-term growth. Conduct regular market research to monitor competition and market trends; provide actionable insights. Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales initiatives with branding and lead generation efforts. Ensure effective use of CRM tools for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting. Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs; prepare regular reports for senior management. Support budgeting, pricing strategies, and negotiation with key clients and accounts. Recruit, train, and mentor team members to build a results-driven culture. Key Skills & Competencies: Proven leadership experience in driving sales growth in a competitive market. Strong business acumen and analytical skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Team leadership and mentoring capabilities. Strategic thinking with the ability to execute plans with precision. Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office suite. Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred). 10–15 years of sales experience with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role. Compensation: As per industry standards and experience. Includes fixed + performance-based variable pay. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year Benefits: Paid time off Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
