Deputy General Manager - Quality

Purpose/Objective

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Precast Factory Quality Head to join our team in Mundra, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of experience in the construction or concrete industry with a strong focus on Quality Assurance. As the Quality Head, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our precast products meet the highest quality standards, adhering to regulatory requirements and internal benchmarks. Key Responsibilities of Role

Roles and Responsibilities Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures for the precast factory. Oversee the quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Lead and manage a team of quality inspectors and technicians, providing guidance and training as required. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure effective documentation and record-keeping of quality metrics, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions. Participate in the development and review of project quality plans and risk assessments. Facilitate internal and external quality audits, addressing findings and implementing preventive measures. Stay updated on industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to enhance quality processes. Act as a quality advocate, promoting a culture of quality consciousness and accountability across the organization. Give necessary training for shop floor people to implement and control the process changes.

Technical Competencies

In depth knowledge of quality control processes and methodologies,Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications,Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations ,Skilled in promoting & implementing Six Sigma, TQM, Quality Circle, 5S, Kaizen, etc.

Qualifications and Experience

Education Qualification B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related field Experience 10-12 years of experience in the construction or concrete industry Proven track record in Quality Assurance and Quality Management
