Deputy General Manager - Quality

As a Head FQA at Adani Power Limited (APL), your role is crucial in driving operational excellence and reliability of plant systems through strategic planning and quality assurance processes. You will be responsible for managing quality, overseeing maintenance, implementing inspection checks, and ensuring high-quality standards during overhauls and equipment installations. Your leadership will play a key role in fostering a high-performance culture and continuous improvement within the department. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing strategic plans to ensure the healthiness and availability of all systems, implementing Root Cause Analysis to minimize boiler tube leakages, monitoring inspection checks to prevent failures, and overseeing regular maintenance activities. You will also be tasked with implementing quality assurance protocols, managing the department's budget, ensuring compliance with guidelines and legal requirements, and leading digitization and automation efforts to optimize operational efficiency. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering or a related field, along with at least 15 years of experience in quality assurance/control, preferably in the power generation or related heavy industries. Candidates with a background in operational excellence and quality management systems will be preferred for this position.
