Deputy General Manager - Quality

We are looking to hire a Deputy Manager – Quality who will be primarily responsible for establishing, managing, and strengthening the Quality Management System (QMS) across our manufacturing plants and ensuring IATF 16949 certification and compliance. The role demands a leader who is deeply hands-on with IATF requirements and audits, and capable of building robust quality processes to meet customer and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the organisation’s QMS with a strong focus on IATF 16949 compliance.

• Drive IATF certification for all manufacturing units, ensuring readiness, documentation, and closure of non-conformities within deadlines.

• Coordinate with plant teams to integrate IATF requirements into daily operations and develop process standardization.

• Prepare and lead internal audits, management reviews, and external certification audits, ensuring seamless execution.

• Establish and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation control as per IATF standards.

• Guide cross-functional teams in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC activities to ensure product and process quality.

• Monitor QMS performance through defined KPIs and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for identified gaps.

• Train and mentor quality, production, and supporting teams on IATF requirements to build a strong quality culture.

• Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors and customers on quality systems and compliance matters.
