Deputy Chief Executive Officer

Position Overview

The Deputy CEO will serve as the second-in-command to the CEO, driving strategic leadership, operational excellence, and innovation within Madre Janus’ cybersecurity operations. This role will focus on scaling MSSP services, ensuring robust security governance, strengthening client relationships, and steering the organization towards market leadership in advanced cybersecurity solutions powered by Fortinet technologies.

The ideal candidate will bring over two decades of proven leadership in global cybersecurity, cloud security architecture, and IT governance, combined with hands-on expertise in building and leading security operations at scale.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

• Collaborate with the CEO to define and execute the company’s long-term vision, growth strategy, and business objectives.
• Spearhead cybersecurity service innovation, aligning offerings with Fortinet MSSP solutions and emerging market needs.
• Represent Madre Janus at high-level industry events, government bodies, and client boardrooms.

2. Cybersecurity & Compliance Excellence

• Oversee enterprise-wide security posture, strategy, and compliance across all projects and client engagements.
• Drive adherence to global standards including ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR, and regional data protection regulations.
• Ensure continuous improvement of SOC, Zero Trust, and security engineering capabilities.

3. Operational & Business Management

• Lead large-scale deployments, RFP responses, and enterprise client onboarding for MSSP services.
• Optimize operational efficiency by standardizing tools, processes, and best practices across teams.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure targets are consistently met or exceeded.

4. Team Development & Leadership

• Recruit, mentor, and retain top talent in cybersecurity, engineering, governance, and compliance.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer focus.

5. Stakeholder Engagement & Business Development

• Build strong relationships with enterprise customers, technology partners (including Fortinet), and industry bodies.
• Support business development teams in strategic client pitches and negotiations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education:

  B.Tech/ M.Tech in Engineering (Computer Science / Information Technology or related field) from a reputed institution.

• Experience:

  20+ years of progressive leadership in cybersecurity, IT security architecture, SOC operations, and compliance management.
• Proven experience as a CISO, VP Security, or equivalent top-level cybersecurity leadership role.
• Strong expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), Zero Trust architecture, identity and access management, data loss prevention, and threat intelligence.
• Track record of managing multi-country security operations and large-scale transformation projects.
• Certifications such as CCZT, OSCP, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent are preferred.
