Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Lead with 6–8 years of experience to oversee the MIS and analytics function at VMax Wellness. This on-site role in Coimbatore involves managing data-driven initiatives, providing actionable insights, and leading a team to support strategic and operational decision-making. The role is ideal for a professional with strong analytical skills, business understanding, and the ability to translate data into meaningful business outcomes.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Data Strategy & Governance
  • Develop and implement strategies for data collection, management, and utilization.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across all systems.
  • Define data standards, documentation, and reporting processes.
  • MIS & Reporting
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and management reports for operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Provide actionable insights and trend analysis to leadership and departmental teams.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to evaluate business performance.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead, mentor, and guide the analytics team to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide analytics support.
  • Promote a data-driven culture across the organization by enabling teams to use insights effectively.
  • Advanced Analytics & Insights
  • Conduct predictive and prescriptive analytics to identify growth opportunities and operational improvements.
  • Identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities from large datasets to support business strategy.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvement, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Process & Tool Optimization
  • Implement automation and technology solutions to enhance reporting efficiency.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve analytics processes and tools to meet evolving business needs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of analytics outputs to stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • Education: Postgraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics).
  • Experience: 6–8 years of experience in data analytics, MIS, or business intelligence, preferably in health-tech, wellness, or related industries.
  • Technical Skills: Strong expertise in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), advanced Excel, and familiarity with reporting or database tools.
  • Analytical Abilities: Ability to interpret complex datasets, extract actionable insights, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data-driven recommendations to cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage analytics teams while fostering a data-driven culture.
  • Process & Tool Optimization: Experience in streamlining analytics workflows, implementing automation, and enhancing reporting efficiency.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to align analytics outputs with organizational objectives.
