Data Analyst

Position Overview

The Data Analyst (Solar Projects) will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting project, engineering, and operational data to support decision-making across solar rooftop andground-mount projects. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data tools, and the ability to translate complex datasets into clear insights for senior management, operations, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Collection & Management

• Gather project data from various departments including sales, design, procurement andconstruction.
• Maintain accurate databases for project performance, material consumption, timelines,and financial metrics.
• Ensure data integrity, quality checks, and standardisation across all datasets.

2. Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyse project performance indicators (KPIs) such as generation yield, PR, cost variance, timelines, and resource utilisation.
• Prepare dashboards, MIS reports, and weekly/monthly analytics for managementreview.
• Identify trends, deviations, and inefficiencies during project execution and suggestcorrective actions.

3. Project Performance Monitoring

• Track project progress from planning to commissioning using analytical tools.
• Monitor O&M performance for operational projects and provide generation/PR insights.
• Evaluate vendor performance using historical data and KPI trends.

4. Forecasting & Modelling

• Develop predictive models for energy generation, material consumption, and projecttimelines.
• Assist in financial analysis related to budgeting, cost forecasting, and ROI modelling.
• Use analytical modelling for site feasibility, load analysis, and production estimates.

5. Tools & Software

• Work with MS Excel (advanced), Power BI/Tableau, Google Sheets, SQL, and ERP/ProjectManagement Tools.
• Support integration of analytics dashboards with company systems.
• Ensure automation of repetitive reporting tasks.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with Engineering, Procurement, Operations, SCM, and BD teams to gatherrelevant data.
• Present findings and insights clearly to senior leadership for strategic decisions.• Support the Project Planning team with data-driven recommendations.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or related fields.

• MBA or specialized certification in Data Analytics will be an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
