Role Summary :

Job Location: HSR Layout, Bangalore (on-site)


We are seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented professional to join our Retail team. This person will be responsible for preparing business performance reports, conducting analyses to identify growth opportunities, managing retail store inventory and replenishment processes, and supporting cross-functional business projects. The role demands strong analytical ability, retail acumen, and comfort working in a fast-paced D2C environment with understanding of offline Brick and Mortar retail.


Key Responsibilities :


  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to track store-wise and overall retail performance (sales, conversion, margin, sell-through, footfall, etc.).
  • Analyze performance metrics such as revenue per sq. ft., ASP, consumer behavior trends, and product category performance.
  • Calculate and execute inventory allocation and replenishment plans for all brand-owned stores.
  • Track stock levels and ensure optimal product availability; reduce stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Collaborate with Supply chain to align inventory forecasts with demand trends and retail targets.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and business deep-dives to support management decisions.
  • Partner with Retail operations team on new projects such as store expansion, assortment planning, and retail promotions.
  • Recommend actionable insights to enhance efficiency, sales productivity, and customer experience at stores.


What you need:


  • 4–6 years of experience in retail analytics, retail operations, business performance, or merchandising for a consumer brand (apparel, lifestyle, Brand Store/EBO/LFR).
  • Strong competency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling) and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large data sets and extract actionable insights.
  • Understanding of inventory management and replenishment models in a multi-store retail environment.
  • Strong communication skills to present insights to leadership.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.


Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience:


  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) or retail MIS tools.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).
  • Exposure to D2C or omnichannel brands with significant understanding of Offline retail KPI, especially in apparel or lifestyle categories.
  • Understanding of category-wise assortment planning and visual merchandising KPIs backed with season in product sell-thru, markdowns and replenishments and stock consolidations.
  • Comfort in working with cross-functional teams (supply chain, merchandising, finance).
