The Data Analyst – PMO / Projects will be responsible for analyzing, visualizing, and reporting project performance data across the retail rollout portfolio. The role supports decision-making through data-driven insights, dashboards, and trend analysis, ensuring alignment between planning, execution, and strategic objectives.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled in transforming project data into actionable intelligence for leadership visibility and operational efficiency
Key Responsibilities
- Project Data Management
- Collect, clean, and consolidate project data across multiple systems (MS Project, Power BI, Excel, Dataverse, SharePoint).
- Maintain master project databases including project schedules, budgets, and resource utilization.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of project KPIs, milestones, and portfolio metrics.
- Reporting & Dashboards
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and automated reports on progress, cost, timelines, and resource performance.
- Create visual insights for management reviews, governance decks, and portfolio tracking.
- Generate weekly/monthly MIS reports, highlighting trends, risks, and variance analysis.
- Performance & Portfolio Analysis
- Support the PMO in analyzing store rollout performance, schedule adherence, and cost efficiency.
- Conduct variance and earned value analysis (EVA) for project tracking.
- Evaluate post-completion data for lessons learned and continuous improvement.
- Process Documentation & Workflow Automation
- Assist in standardizing reporting templates, workflows, and data management processes.
- Document procedures for project tracking, reporting, and governance.
- Support digital transformation initiatives using Power Automate / Power Apps / Dataverse for workflow optimization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with project managers, design, procurement, and finance teams for data consolidation.
- Ensure transparent communication of metrics between site and corporate teams.
- Provide analytical support for CAPEX planning, vendor performance, and cost validation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or Business Analytics.
- 2–5 years of experience in data analytics, PMO reporting, or MIS roles.
- Strong command of Excel, Power BI, and SQL (knowledge of Dataverse preferred).
- Exposure to MS Project, Power Platform, or Project Online is an advantage.
- Experience in retail, construction, or project-based industries preferred.
