Data Analyst

Job Summary

The Data Analyst supports the school’s mission by collecting, managing, and analyzing data to improve student achievement, instructional effectiveness, and operational efficiency. This role works closely with school leaders, teachers, and administrative staff to provide insights that guide data-driven decisions in teaching, learning, and resource planning.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Student Performance and Achievement

• Collect, clean, and analyze student academic data (grades, test scores, attendance, behavior).
• Identify achievement trends, learning gaps, and at-risk students to support early interventions.
• Develop reports and dashboards to track progress toward academic goals.

Instructional and Program Evaluation

• Evaluate the effectiveness of academic programs, teaching strategies, and interventions.
• Provide data insights to support curriculum planning and instructional improvement.
• Collaborate with teachers and instructional coaches to interpret student performance data.

Teacher and Staff Support

• Assist teachers in understanding classroom-level data to inform lesson planning.
• Analyze and summarize feedback from teacher evaluations or professional development initiatives.
• Help leadership measure teacher performance using relevant metrics.

School Operations and Compliance

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student information systems (SIS).
• Generate compliance and accountability reports for district, state, or federal education agencies.
• Ensure data quality, security, and privacy in accordance with FERPA and school policies.

Data Visualization and Communication

• Create user-friendly dashboards and visualizations for school administrators and teachers.
• Present insights through clear data reports, presentations, or infographics.
• Translate technical findings into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Education, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Experience : 2 to 5 years (mandatory).Fresher's not considered.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel .
• Strong Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio).
• Good Familiarity with education software such as PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, or Skyward,HRONE, Notion.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and IT staff.
• Analytical mindset with a passion for improving student outcomes through data.
