About the Role:

Data Analyst

The role involves working closely with strategy, field, and digital teams to derive actionable insights from diverse data sources — including voter lists, booth-level turnout data, survey reports, and social media trends — to guide campaign decisions and optimize outreach efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management & Analysis

• Collect, clean, and analyze electoral, demographic, and campaign data from multiple sources (booth-level results, census data, field survey reports, etc.).
• Build datasets that integrate quantitative and qualitative political indicators.
• Conduct voter segmentation, swing analysis, and turnout forecasting.

Insights & Reporting

• Translate raw data into clear, actionable insights for strategy teams.
• Prepare constituency profiles, performance dashboards, and comparative analysis (e.g., past vs. current election trends).
• Create visualizations (charts, heat maps, scorecards) to communicate findings to campaign leaders and consultants.

Predictive & Statistical Modeling

• Develop predictive models to identify winnable constituencies, influential voter groups, and key campaign issues.
• Use regression, clustering, and time-series analysis to assess vote share changes and campaign impact.

• Collaboration & Strategy Support

• Partner with political strategists, ground teams, and digital units to design data-backed interventions.
• Support the formulation of booth-level strategies and micro-targeting initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

  Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Political Science, or related fields.

• Minimum

  2 years of experience in political or electoral data analysis

  (experience with campaign or consulting firms preferred).
• Proficiency in analytical tools such as

  Excel, Python/R, Power BI/Tableau, SQL.

• Strong understanding of

  Indian electoral systems, constituency mapping, and voter behavior.

• Ability to handle large datasets, and present insights in a structured, narrative-driven manner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Hindi and English preferred).

Preferred Attributes:

• Prior experience with

  election war rooms, survey agencies, or political PR/campaign firms.

• Knowledge of

  GIS mapping tools

  and

  booth-level micro-analysis.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, politically sensitive environment.
