We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Dairy Technologist to lead our end-to-end dairy production operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end dairy production operations, from milk reception to final product dispatch.
• Ensure smooth processing, standardization, and packaging of milk and value-added products including Dahi, Chhach, Lassi, Paneer, Butter, Flavored Milk, Ice-Cream, and Protein-based products.
• Prepare and execute daily/weekly/monthly production plans aligned with demand forecasts.
• Implement and monitor quality standards ensuring compliance at all levels.
• Optimize manpower, machinery, and plant capacity utilization to achieve production targets cost-effectively.
• Maintain plant hygiene, safety protocols, and environmental standards at all times.
• Monitor inventory of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables in coordination with Purchase & Stores.
• Drive cost control, waste reduction, and yield improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate closely with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and Dispatch teams to meet timely delivery requirements.
• Lead new product development trials and support innovations in dairy processing.
• Manage, mentor, and train production teams (shift in-charges, operators, technicians) for performance improvement.
• Handle internal & external audits, certifications, and client inspections effectively.
• Take charge of new projects, plant expansions, and machine installations as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant Degree in Food Science & Nutrition / Dairy Technology / Dairy Engineering (preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in dairy production operations & plant management.
• Proven track record of handling production in dairy industries.
• Strong knowledge of dairy technology, food safety, quality systems, and plant automation (PLC, SAP/ERP).
• Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage teams, audits, and cross-functional coordination effectively.
• Hands-on experience in cost optimization, process improvement, and scaling production.
