What You Will Be Doing

As Business Lead for Credit Products in India, you will own the full lifecycle of our credit products — from concept to scale — ensuring product-market fit, regulatory compliance, and profitability.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and scale a portfolio of credit products for the Indian market (credit cards, EMI, BNPL, cash loans, secured credit cards etc).
  • Drive product performance: achieve portfolio growth, risk, and profitability targets (AR, PAR, NPL, conversion, utilisation).
  • Market fit: analyse competitive landscape (banks, NBFCs, fintechs, co-branded programs) and tailor our product positioning.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with risk, operations, analytics, marketing, and engineering teams to design and deliver best-in-class experiences.
  • Shape product strategy and roadmap: define priorities, manage sprints with tech teams, and coordinate local regulatory & compliance alignment (RBI, PCI-DSS, KYC/AML, etc.).
  • Define pricing and P&L models — interest rates, EMI fees, GSTs, delinquency impact, promotions, etc.
  • Monitor KPIs and continuously improve conversion, activation, and repayment behavior metrics.
  • Own documentation: product BRDs, user flows, financial models, and business presentations.
  • Act as the voice of the Indian customer, ensuring that local user experience, culture, and financial behaviour are reflected in product design.


Who you are

  • 5+ years of experience in credit product management in banking, fintech, or NBFCs, with a focus on consumer lending.
  • Proven track record launching or managing credit card, EMI, BNPL, cash loan, or secured card products in India.
  • Solid understanding of:
  • Indian credit card market ecosystem (issuers, networks, co-brands, acquirers, processors, RBI norms);
  • EMI logic: conversion, repayment, foreclosure, GST handling, and RBI EMI circulars.
  • Credit risk metrics (vintage analysis, NPL, write-off flow, recovery process);
  • Customer journey in digital lending (onboarding, activation, repayment, delinquency).
  • Experience with product documentation (BRD, business cases, P&L, dashboards).
  • Understanding of Scrum/agile delivery and cross-functional teamwork.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and can own local execution.


Bonus points:

  • Experience working with processing partners (M2P, Zeta, Pismo, Fiserv, Tieto EVRY).
  • Exposure to co-branded credit cards or NBFC partnerships.
  • Understanding of the Indian credit bureau ecosystem (CIBIL, Experian, CRIF, etc.).
  • Prior experience with BNPL or EMI logic in fintech or mobile banking app context.
