Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Credit Manager to join our team at Equitas Small Finance Bank. The ideal candidate will have 14 years of experience in the BFSI industry, with expertise in affordable housing, housing loans, and credit management.

Roles and Responsibility

Manage and oversee the credit function, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Develop and implement effective credit risk management strategies to minimize losses.
Conduct thorough analysis of customer creditworthiness, including financial statements and other relevant data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Monitor and report on credit performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of credit principles, practices, and regulations, particularly in the BFSI industry.
Proven experience in managing credit portfolios, preferably in affordable housing or housing loans.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong understanding of credit risk management frameworks and techniques.
Experience working with credit data analytics tools and software is an asset.
