, is hiring a

Credit Lead

. This opportunity is with a well established startup, funded and growing at a steady pace, one of the most emerging sectors in the startup environment. They are looking for sharp and dynamic CA to

lead the Credit Segment

especially in

unsecured SME lending (10L to 1CR)

The ideal candidate should have atleast

7 years of experience

post CA in credit underwriting & policy experience.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Credit Underwriting & Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments of financials, credit bureau data, cash flows, and sector-specific risks (e.g., seasonal agri cycles); recommend and adjust credit limits dynamically.
  • Credit Policy & Governance: Design, implement, and streamline credit policies and SOPs tailored for unsecured agri-trader lending.
  • Risk Management & Portfolio Growth: Balance portfolio expansion with risk control by optimizing exposure, embedding early-warning systems, and monitoring credit health to contain NPAs.
  • Cross-Functional Advisory: Support sales and operations teams with risk-aligned guidance to ensure informed, responsible decision-making.
  • On-Ground Risk Leadership: Lead field visits (~50% travel) for customer due diligence, relationship-building, and hands-on risk assessment and Experienced Credit Professional: Chartered Accountant with 7-12 years in credit underwriting and policy, specializing in unsecured SME lending (10L to 1Cr), with strong exposure to agri-trader finance in North and West India.
  • Technical & Strategic Expertise: Skilled in financial analysis, cash-flow modeling, scorecard development, and credit limit setting; proven track record in designing and enforcing robust credit frameworks that balance growth with asset quality.
  • Strong Leadership & Communication: Effective communicator with the ability to engage both HQ and field teams; open to 50% travel for on-ground portfolio and customer assessments.

NOTE

- This role require travelling across PAN India. While applying, candidates should be willing to travel 50% of the time to any location as per the business requirements.
