Job Title: Credit Senior Executive/executive Department: Credit Management Job Type: Full-time Salary: As per Industry standards   Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Manager to join our Credit Management team. The Credit Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the credit sanctioning process, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management guidelines. This role involves assessing credit applications, evaluating creditworthiness, and making informed decisions regarding credit approvals or denials Key Responsibilities: 1.      Credit Assessment:  -Reviewing loan applications to determine whether applicants meet the criteria for creditworthiness. -Reviewing credit reports and other financial records to assess applicants’ ability to repay loans. -Communicating with borrowers to explain details of their loans, including interest rates, terms of repayment, and other important details. -Approving or declining credit applications based on the risk assessment and established criteria -Monitoring the credit performance of existing borrowers and taking proactive measures to address potential delinquencies or defaults. -Building and maintaining relationships with customers or clients to understand their credit needs and address any credit-related concerns 2.      Policy Compliance: - Ensure compliance with the company's credit policies and procedures. - Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations governing the credit industry.  3. Decision Making: - Make informed credit decisions based on comprehensive risk analysis. - Determine appropriate credit limits and terms for approved applications.   4. Portfolio Monitoring: - Monitor and manage the company's credit portfolio to identify potential risks and opportunities. - Implement strategies to mitigate credit losses and optimize credit performance.   5. Team Collaboration: - Work closely with the credit underwriting team to ensure accurate and timely processing of credit applications. - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior credit professionals. - Collaborate with other departments such as Sales, Legal, and Collections to address credit-related issues.   Qualifications: - Bachelor's /degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. - Minimum 2 years of experience in unsecured lending, with a focus on sanctioning and risk assessment. - Strong knowledge of credit analysis, financial statement analysis, and credit scoring models. - Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements. - Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to balance risk and business objectives. - Proficiency in using credit management software and tools.
