Zero Gravity Medias is seeking for a Creative Head, you will be responsible for driving innovation, creativity, and strategic direction within the company.

As a Creative Head, you play a pivotal role in shaping the brand identity, messaging, and visual aesthetics that resonate with the target audience for the various clients. Your creative vision and leadership directly impact the success of marketing campaigns, brand perception, and overall business objectives.

  • The Creative Head role is instrumental in fostering collaboration among various teams, including marketing, design, content, and sales, to ensure cohesive brand messaging and consistency across all touchpoints.
  • This position is at the forefront of interpreting market trends, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies to deliver cutting-edge creative solutions that set the company apart in a competitive landscape.
  • Success as a Creative Head is measured by the ability to drive brand engagement, increase brand awareness, deliver impactful campaigns, and ultimately contribute to revenue growth. Key performance indicators (KPIs) may include brand recall, customer engagement metrics, campaign ROI, and creative team performance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Creative Head, your responsibilities encompass a wide range of critical functions:

  • Project Planning and Execution: You are responsible for strategizing, planning, and overseeing the execution of creative projects from concept to completion. This involves setting project timelines, allocating resources, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Your role involves addressing creative challenges, resolving issues that arise during projects, and making informed decisions to keep campaigns on track and aligned with brand objectives.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: You collaborate with teams across departments such as marketing, sales, product development, and external agencies to ensure creative alignment with overall business goals and strategies.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: As a leader, you inspire and mentor creative teams, providing guidance, feedback, and fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement and Innovation: You drive innovation by identifying opportunities for process enhancements, exploring new creative techniques, and staying abreast of industry trends to push creative boundaries.
  • Technical or Customer-Facing Responsibilities: Depending on the company structure, you may engage in client presentations, pitches, or technical aspects related to design tools, platforms, or digital marketing strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in the role of Creative Head, you must possess the following skills, knowledge, and qualifications:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, knowledge of digital marketing tools, and experience with content management systems (CMS).
  • Educational Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field. Additional certifications in design or marketing are advantageous.
  • Experience Level: Minimum of 5 years in creative roles within marketing/advertising, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity. Experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills in Malayalam and English, ability to collaborate effectively, strategic thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and leadership qualities, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, branding principles, and experience working in fast-paced marketing environments.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, with strong typography (English and Malayalam) , layout, and colour theory skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meets deadlines, and work well under pressure.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up with industry trends, new design technologies, and best practices to maintain the agency's competitive edge.

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the required qualifications, the following attributes would make a candidate stand out:

  • Experience in leading creative teams in renowned advertising agencies or global brands.
  • Holding advanced certifications in design thinking, brand management, or digital marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with emerging trends in AI-driven marketing, automation tools, and data analytics for creative decision-making.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling creative operations, expanding into global markets, and implementing process improvements that drive efficiency and quality.
  • Active participation in industry conferences, thought leadership panels, or published works showcasing expertise in creative strategy.
