Counsellor UK/Ireland

Role & responsibilities:

• Assist students in planning and shaping their international education and career pathways.
  
• Guide students on suitable study options in overseas universities based on their academic profile and career goals.
  
• Respond promptly and accurately to student inquiries.
  
• Stay informed and updated on admission processes, requirements, and entrance examinations for international universities.
  
• Support students through the complete application process for universities in the UK and Ireland.
  
• Coordinate with branches and associates regarding pending documents, requirements, and payments.
  
• Complete and submit online and paper-based university applications.
  
• Resolve queries from branches and associates via email and phone.
  
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with branches and associate partners.
  
• Work toward specific performance targets while earning competitive compensation through salary, bonuses, and incentives.
  
• Ensure adherence to company processes and compliance standards.
  
• Contribute to creating a professional work environment, meeting deadlines, and ensuring a positive experience for students and associates throughout the admission process.
  
• Actively participate in education fairs, university visits, and in-house seminars organized by the company.
  

Preferred candidate profile:

• Graduate or postgraduate in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, or international studies is required.
  
• Strong understanding of international education systems, admission procedures, and student counseling practices.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently with students, parents, and partner institutions.
  
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple applications and deadlines simultaneously.
  
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  
• Comfortable working in a target-driven environment with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  
• Proficiency in MS Office, email communication, and online application portals.
  
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.
  
• Pleasant personality with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  
• Prior experience in overseas education consulting, admissions counseling, or related fields is highly preferred.
