Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA is mandatory, with strong working knowledge

Working Location: Gummidipoondi (40km from Chennai)


Years of Experience: 8 - 10 Years


Financial Management:

  • Oversee and manage daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to management.

Inventory Management:

  • Conduct regular inventory valuation and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
  • Oversee stock verification processes and ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Manage stock transfer processes between locations and ensure accurate tracking and documentation.

Tax Compliance:

  • Manage GST compliance, including timely filing of GST returns and conducting GST audits.
  • Handle TDS compliance, including accurate calculation, deduction, and filing of returns.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure the company’s compliance.

Audit and Compliance:

  • Coordinate and assist in internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial and accounting regulations and standards.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets.

Cost Management:

  • Monitor and control costs to improve the financial efficiency of factory operations.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for cost reduction.

Team Management:

  • Lead and manage the accounts team at the factory level.
  • Provide training and development to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • CA Inter or ICWAI
  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA is mandatory, with strong working knowledge
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
