Job Title: Sr. Executive – Costing 📍 Location: Corporate Office 👤 Reports to: Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts 🏥 Industry: Diagnostics / Pathology Services 🧠 What This Role Is About (In Simple Terms): This role focuses on tracking, analyzing, and managing costs—especially related to medical tests—to help the company understand where money is being spent, how to improve margins, and where savings can be made. 🛠️ Key Responsibilities: 🔸 Costing & Pricing: Set up cost and profit centers in the SAP system Calculate and analyze costs of medical tests Review and report profitability per test Record monthly variable costs (e.g., materials, transport) 🔸 Financial Analysis: Analyze product and service performance by customer, product, and region Prepare detailed costing reports for management decision-making Conduct variance analysis between standard and actual costs Maintain and update cost records as required under statutory regulations 🔸 Process Improvement & Benchmarking: Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements Benchmark pricing and cost structures against industry competitors Monitor and analyze monthly budget vs actual expenditures 📚 Qualifications & Experience: 🧾 Educational Qualifications: CA / ICWA / Postgraduate degree in a relevant field (with costing specialization) 🧠 Experience: 2–4 years of experience in: Cost accounting and analysis Product costing and cost audits Preparation of Bills of Materials (BOM) Working with SAP or similar ERP systems Show more Show less
