Key Responsibilities

Arbitration & Dispute Resolution

• Manage all arbitration processes: brief preparation, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
• Represent the company in disputes with franchisees, partners, and third parties.
• Develop arbitration and mediation strategies to reduce litigation risks.
• Ensure compliance with local and international arbitration laws.
  

Corporate Litigation

• Oversee legal disputes involving contracts, IP, commercial agreements, and franchises.
• Draft and manage litigation documents: pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Collaborate with external counsel and internal teams to manage risk and strategy.
  

Franchise Compliance & Operations

• Advise global Fashion TV franchise outlets on compliance with franchising laws and IP protection.
• Resolve franchise-related disputes and enforce brand standards.
• Ensure franchise agreements are legally sound and aligned with company policies.
  

Brand Protection & Risk Management

• Safeguard Fashion TV’s IP, brand reputation, and legal interests.
• Monitor legal trends and industry developments to mitigate risks.
• Advise senior legal leadership on emerging risks and legal changes.
  

Internal Collaboration

• Partner with marketing, business, and finance teams to ensure compliance.
• Train franchise managers and internal stakeholders on legal policies and risk prevention.
  

Qualifications

Education

• LLB or LLM from an accredited law school.
• Must be a registered member of the Bar.
  

Experience

• Extensive experience in corporate litigation with specialization in arbitration.
• Proven success in handling IP and franchise-related disputes (preferably global).
• Industry experience in fashion, media, or entertainment is a plus.
  

Skills & Competencies

• Deep knowledge of arbitration laws (domestic & international).
• Excellent legal drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high case volumes.
• Business-focused mindset with strong legal acumen.
• Team player who can also work independently.
  

Preferred

• Experience in global franchise legal operations.
• Multilingual abilities (preferred for international operations).
