Job Summary:

Corporate Finance and Legal Compliance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Finance Compliance:

• Coordinate with internal audit teams and external auditors for financial compliance audits.
• Support treasury, budgeting, and M&A activities with compliance oversight.

Legal & Regulatory Compliance:

• Monitor regulatory developments affecting corporate governance, contracts, and transactions.
• Draft, review, and manage legal documentation (contracts, NDAs, financial agreements) to ensure risk mitigation and legal compliance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and industry standards (e.g., AML, GDPR, Companies Act).

Policy & Risk Management:

• Develop and maintain internal compliance policies and procedures.
• Identify compliance risks and recommend proactive solutions to prevent legal or financial exposure.
• Conduct regular compliance assessments and provide reports to senior leadership.

Training & Awareness:

• Deliver compliance training sessions to staff, particularly in finance, procurement, and legal teams.
• Promote ethical practices and a culture of compliance throughout the organization.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Professional Courses (e.g., CA Finals completed).

• 6+ years of experience in corporate finance, legal compliance, or risk management.
• Strong understanding of financial systems, legal frameworks, and regulatory environments.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Skills Required:

• Deep knowledge of corporate finance and legal compliance requirements.
• Ability to interpret complex laws and financial regulations.
• Strong knowledge in Statutory Audit - Finalisation & Reporting including Trusts.
• Experience working cross-functionally with finance, legal, and audit teams.
