Job Description

Intercompany Accounting:

  • Manage global intercompany transactions including cross-charges, service agreements, royalty fees, and cost allocations.
  • Handle intercompany reconciliations, aging analysis, and settlements.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and recharges per intercompany agreements.
  • Coordinate with global entities to ensure IC balances match and eliminate mismatches during consolidation.
  • Maintain intercompany matrices, agreements, and schedules.

Global Payroll Accounting:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll accounting processes for USA, UK, Germany, Australia, and Singapore.
  • Reconcile payroll reports from vendors with accounting ledgers.
  • Record payroll entries: gross wages, tax withholdings, benefits, accruals, and employer liabilities.
  • Liaise with external payroll providers and internal HR for monthly payroll inputs and reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate accruals for bonuses, incentives, leave encashments, and statutory dues.
  • Stay up-to-date on local payroll statutory compliance in each country and support audit readiness.
  • Reviewed month-end journal entries to ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies

Transfer Pricing (TP) Compliance:

  • Ensure TP policies are adhered to for intercompany service arrangements, product pricing, and cost-sharing agreements.
  • Work with the tax team on TP documentation, margin analysis, and economic benchmarking studies.
  • Support legal entity profitability tracking and ensure intercompany markups are applied as per TP policies.
  • Assist in intercompany agreement maintenance, invoice templates, and compliance with BEPS (Base Erosion and Profit Shifting) principles.

Month-End Close & Reporting:

  • Prepare and post journal entries, perform GL reconciliations, and ensure timely close.
  • Analyze P&L and Balance Sheet fluctuations for assigned entities and cost centers.
  • Support external and internal audit processes, including statutory audits and SOX (if applicable).
  • Prepare reports for management and support budgeting and forecasting with FP&A teams.

What you should have

  • Bachelor s or Master s in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • CA, CPA, CMA (completed or semi-qualified) highly preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in accounting, preferably in multinational corporations (MNCs) or shared services.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS, payroll processes, and intercompany accounting best practices.
  • Experience working with ERP systems like Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent command over MS Excel, including pivot tables, etc

Key Competencies:

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage complex multi-entity reconciliations.
  • Strong communication skills for working with international teams and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of statutory and regulatory compliance across regions (e.g., social security in Germany,
  • superannuation in Australia, CPF in Singapore).
  • Ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and drive process improvements.
  • Hands-on experience with TP documentation tools or working with Big 4 consultants.
  • Prior involvement in financial audits, including TP audit queries.
