Role Overview
We’re looking for a creative and strategically-minded Content & Social Media Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and understands how to build engaging, brand-aligned content across digital platforms. You will own content development and distribution across paid, owned, and earned channels—driving both awareness and conversion.
This role requires fluency in both Hindi and English (thinking + writing) and an ability to balance brand-level strategy with tactical product messaging, tailored for each platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Creation
- Write and manage content for: Digital Ads, Email Campaigns & Newsletters, SEO pages & Blog articles, Website & Landing Pages, E-marketplace content (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.)
- Translate complex product info into simple, persuasive messaging- Craft platform-specific content that is social-media-friendly- Write long-form and short-form content, including LinkedIn articles and thought leadership
Social Media Management
- Own strategy and execution across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook and other relevant channels
- Build monthly social calendars integrated with product drops and brand moments- Ideate and execute content formats: Reels/Shorts, Carousels, Stories, Static Posts, Creator Collaborations- Drive daily community engagement (responding to DMs, comments, story replies)- Track and report performance metrics and iterate for growth- Coordinate with performance team for paid content boosting and A/B testing
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams: Product, E-commerce, Quick Commerce, Modern Trade, General Trade
- Ensure content aligns with brand tone, sales goals, and retail requirements- Stay updated on product launches, pricing, availability, and regional adaptations
Strategic Brand Thinking
- Ability to think at brand level (long-term positioning) and product level (conversion and messaging)
- Adapt brand voice for multiple platforms while maintaining a unified identity- Analyze platform behavior to tailor content without losing brand consistency
Team Management & Coordination
- Manage external writers, designers, or junior content creators
- Plan workflows and timelines to ensure delivery with quality and consistency- Collaborate with agencies, freelancers, and internal resources
Candidate Profile Must-Have Skills
- 3–5 years experience in content creation, digital marketing, or social media roles
- Strong grasp of brand copy, product storytelling, and platform-native formats- Bilingual content thinking in Hindi and English- Sharp attention to tone, grammar, and cultural nuance- Ability to prioritize and multitask across diverse formats and deadlines
Tools & Software Knowledge
- Content: Google Docs, Grammarly, Notion
- Design collaboration: Canva, Figma, Adobe Suite (basic level)- Social media: Meta Business Suite, Creator Studio, LinkedIn Analytics, YouTube Studio- SEO & Analytics: Google Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs (basic understanding), Google Analytics
Bonus Advantage
- Experience writing for D2C food brands, retail-driven products, or health-focused SKUs
- Understanding of e-commerce content requirements (titles, bullets, A+ content)- Ability to develop briefs for design/video teams that translate well to visuals
