Role Overview: The Consulting Manager is responsible for leading the successful development, execution, and management of the organization’s Dynamics 365 Business Central functional consulting practice. This strategic role ensures the delivery of exceptional service to clients, partners, and stakeholders, while driving growth and innovation aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and its surrounding ecosystem, demonstrating thought leadership and a passion for the platform’s continued evolution. As a recognized expert within the team, the Consulting Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the practice.
Practice Leadership
• Oversee the Dynamics 365 Business Central consulting practice, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow the practice, expand service offerings, and enhance client value.
• Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and delivering tailored Business Central solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through digital transformation initiatives and maximizing the value of their ERP investments.
• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of Business Central projects.
• Ensure projects meet scope, timeline, and budget expectations while maintaining high quality standards.
• Manage project risks, resolve issues proactively, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of consultants.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
• Support sales efforts by identifying opportunities, shaping proposals, and presenting solutions to prospective clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive growth and expand market presence. Technical Expertise
• Serve as a subject matter expert in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including architecture, configuration, and customization.
• Stay current with platform updates, industry trends, and best practices.
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with client goals.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in a consulting or leadership capacity.
• Proven track record of managing ERP projects and leading consulting teams.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Microsoft certifications in Business Central or related technologies preferred.
