Community Manager

Uptrail is a UK-based career accelerator that supports students, job seekers, and early-career professionals as they transition confidently into the tech industry. We deliver structured, courses in data science, software development, cyber security, and cloud engineering, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world experience.

Role Summary

We are seeking a full time Community Manager to lead engagement within our online learner community while also supporting Uptrail’s wider marketing initiatives. This is a remote position where you will play a key role in shaping the learner experience, fostering collaboration, and growing our brand presence across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and moderate Uptrail’s Discord community, ensuring it remains active, inclusive, and supportive.
• Design and implement engagement initiatives such as discussions, challenges, polls, and live events.
• Encourage collaboration, networking, and peer-to-peer learning among members.
• Recognise and celebrate learner achievements to drive motivation and retention.
• Gather feedback and provide insights to enhance the learner experience.
• Assist in planning and executing content across social media platforms.
• Contribute to digital marketing campaigns, email newsletters, and blogs.
• Monitor and report on engagement metrics across community and marketing channels.
• Collaborate with the wider team to maintain consistent branding and messaging.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing online communities (Discord or similar platforms).
• Understanding of digital marketing (social media, content creation, or campaigns).
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate new engagement ideas.
