Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Commis to join our team at The Leela, with 2-8 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist the Chef de Partie in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation in all dishes.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Develop new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the culinary experience.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Participate in inventory management and stock control of kitchen supplies.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Commis or similar role in a professional kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and ingredients.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
