Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Commis II to join our team at The Fern Residency, with 0-2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Tandoor and Chinese cuisine.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist the Chef de Partie in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation in all dishes.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
Develop new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the culinary experience.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Participate in inventory management and stock control.

Job Requirements

Any Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
Strong knowledge of Tandoor and Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
