Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Gujarati Chef to join our team in the Hotels and Restaurant industry. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in cooking, preferably in a similar role.

Roles and Responsibility

Prepare and cook authentic Gujarati dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other chefs to develop new recipes and menus.
Ensure all food is prepared and presented on time, meeting customer expectations.
Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
Develop and implement effective food safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a chef, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of Gujarati cuisine and cooking techniques.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
Ability to maintain high levels of quality and attention to detail.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances, including ovens and refrigerators.
Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a flexible approach to work.
