Job Description

Elevate is recruiting a

Commercial Attorney

to join our ElevateNext team. This role will provide assistance to entrepreneurs and startups throughout their incorporation journey and beyond.

Specifically, the Commercial Attorney will

  • Assist with contract drafting, review, and analysis for cross-border business operations.
  • Scope customer inquiries to develop accurate fee quotes.
  • Manage assigned matters on Elevate platform, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Interface with senior attorney who provide oversight on accounts.
  • Support the preparation and filing of various corporate documents with state authorities.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of legal documents, identifying areas for improvement while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates by gathering relevant information.
  • Scale projects as appropriate based on customer needs.

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in corporate/commercial law.
  • Experience with startup formation and early-stage business issues.
  • Knowledge of Delaware corporate law.
  • Experience working with entrepreneurs and early-stage companies.

  • Demonstrated proficiency working with customers and colleagues globally in remote environments.
  • Self-starter with strong personal accountability and a proactive, flexible disposition.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Works well independently and with teams.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Experience working with technology platforms and following establishes processes.

Qualifications

  • JD required.
  • Must have an active bar license.

Compensation

  • The pay rate for this role is $90,000-100,000/year based on job-related skills, experience, level, and location. In addition, Elevate offers full-time employees a comprehensive benefits package and PTO.
