Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic, proactive, and detail-oriented CMA-qualified professional to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing and optimizing costs, preparing budgets, analyzing financial data, and supporting strategic decision-making to ensure profitability and efficiency in our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost estimates, and forecasts for various construction projects.
  • Analyze variances between actual costs and budgets, identify reasons, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct cost audits, develop cost control measures, and support cost reduction initiatives.
  • Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and other departments to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Assist in preparation of MIS reports, profitability analysis, and management dashboards.
  • Ensure accurate allocation and tracking of costs across multiple sites and projects.
  • Support in pricing decisions for tenders and bids by providing detailed cost analysis.
  • Monitor compliance with statutory and internal accounting/costing standards and guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of effective financial controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in year-end audits and liaise with internal and external auditors as needed.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of construction industry costs, contracts, and project accounting.
  • Proficient in costing techniques, financial planning, and budget management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work cross-functionally.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), and other accounting software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • CMA (Cost & Management Accountant) — Qualified from ICMAI (Institute of Cost Accountants of India).
  • 1–5 years of relevant experience in a construction, infrastructure, or real estate company preferred.
  • Fresh CMAs with a keen learning attitude may also apply if they demonstrate strong potential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
