Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Manager to oversee multiple food retail stores in Bangalore. The role involves driving operational excellence, achieving sales and profitability targets, ensuring compliance with company standards, and leading store teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience. The Area Manager will act as the key link between the stores and the regional leadership team, ensuring smooth execution of business strategies at the ground level.

Key Responsibilities:

Business & Sales Performance

Drive sales growth and profitability across all assigned stores.

Monitor and achieve revenue, margin, and operational KPIs.

Analyze business performance and implement corrective action plans.

Operations Management

Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards.

Optimize inventory management, shrinkage control, and stock availability.

Maintain store infrastructure and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

People Leadership

Lead, mentor, and motivate Store Managers and their teams.

Identify training and development needs to build strong customer-focused teams.

Manage manpower planning, scheduling, and attrition control.

Customer Experience

Ensure consistent delivery of excellent service and shopping experience.

Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve issues effectively.

Drive initiatives for customer loyalty and engagement.

Compliance & Audit

Conduct regular store visits and audits to ensure operational excellence.

Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and company requirements.

Drive hygiene, FSSAI, and safety standards at all outlets.

Expansion & Projects

Support new store openings and transitions.

Provide market insights to identify growth opportunities in the region.
