Job Description

Role Overview: As a leader in this role, you will be instrumental in driving significant sales growth for building materials within a designated cluster. Your main responsibilities will involve developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, achieving ambitious GMV and revenue targets, building a high-performing team, and nurturing strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor sales performance across your cluster and implement strategies to achieve assigned GMV and revenue targets. - Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities for building materials. - Oversee efficient order processing through digital tools and ensure timely resolution of pre-order inquiries. - Ensure efficient collection of all receivables from customer accounts within the cluster. - Develop and implement a cluster-level sales strategy for construction materials, aligned with company-wide objectives. - Set clear sales targets for your cluster and hold your team accountable for achieving them. - Recruit, onboard, and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to a high-performing team of Relationship Managers. - Oversee the meticulous capture, entry, and update of all relevant customer data within the CRM system by the sales team. - Oversee the development and execution of a strategic plan to identify and target retailers, wholesalers, contractors, and builders within the territory. - Work collaboratively with your Relationship Managers to build strong relationships with key decision-makers in the construction industry. - Ensure effective customer onboarding and foster long-term client relationships across the cluster. - Ensure adherence to all local regulations, company standards, and policies within your cluster. - Foster strong collaboration across internal teams (operations, finance, logistics, category) to guarantee smooth order fulfillment and customer service. Qualifications Required: - Educational background MBA with 10+ years of experience. - Experience in the Construction Industry & B2B Ecommerce (Building Material) industry is a plus. - Strong skills in Customer Relationship Management and query resolutions. - Ability to translate strategies into execution plans and take them to completion. - Experience in financial aspects related to P&L. - Strong digital literacy with proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for sales enablement. - Building and leading teams. - Proven people leadership skills. Leadership experience in handling large accounts in the e-commerce industry is required. - Networking & Relationship Management - Should have a strong local network. Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills.
