Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Incident & Problem Management

Resolve enterprise trouble tickets within agreed SLAs and raise problem tickets for permanent fixes.
Analyze incidents to drive reduction in repeat issues.
Escalate high-priority issues to internal and customer stakeholders for faster resolution.
Provide inputs for RCA and define preventive/corrective actions after major incidents.

Infrastructure Operations & Troubleshooting

Execute change control tickets as per implementation plans.
Perform logical, analytical troubleshooting using available data and knowledge bases.
Convert new troubleshooting steps into KB articles.
Work on elevated tickets from L1 and ensure OLA adherence across delivery layers.

Must-Have Qualifications

Strong hands-on expertise in:
Networking: Routing protocols, NetFlow analyzers, firewalls, load balancers.
Servers: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, IIS, patch management, AD replication troubleshooting.
High Availability: Failover clustering, VMware clustering.
Storage & Backup: Storage design, replication, CLI operations, hardware/firmware upgrades, ITSM tasks.
Cloud: AWS / Azure / GCP (any one).
Monitoring Tools: CA UIM, SCOM, SolarWinds, Nagios, ServiceNow.
Databases: Data modeling, schema management, backup/recovery, migrations.
Good knowledge of ITIL processes.
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
