Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Chinese Commis to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels and restaurants.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist the Chef de Partie in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
Prepare and cook various Chinese dishes, including stir-fries, noodles, and desserts.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
Develop new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Commis in a professional kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine and cooking techniques.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
