Lead architecture and design decisions, ensuring scalable, secure, high-performance cloud systems (e.g. Microsoft Azure). Oversee software development lifecycle: design, build, deploy, maintain. Ensure compliance with security frameworks and certifications (e.g. SOC2) and embed strong security practices across teams. Build and lead high-performing engineering teams; mentor technical leads. Manage technical operations, infrastructure, and DevOps practices to drive reliability and uptime. Evaluate new technologies and tools; stay current with industry trends. Collaborate with product, operations, sales, and other leadership to ensure seamless integration of tech strategy with product roadmap. Oversee budgeting for technology investments, resource allocation, risk assessment, and cost optimization. Ensure monitoring, observability, incident response, disaster recovery, and continuous improvement in systems.
Preferred Skills
Proven experience as a senior technology leader (CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Tech) in a fast-paced, cloud / AI / SaaS environment. Strong expertise with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure. Deep understanding of security and compliance (SOC2, data protection, etc.). Solid background in software engineering, architecture, and infrastructure. Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring and observability. Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills. Strategic thinker who can balance innovation, speed to market, and reliability. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent; or equivalent experience.Qualifications
Postgraduate Degree(s)Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are preferred. Security-focused certifications like CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are highly valued, along with DevOps or site reliability credentials such as DevOps Leader, SRE Foundation, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
